New movement options include wall-running, double jumping, air dashing, and a grappling hook, which give Lo Wang a streamlined movement set. Lo Wang can also execute wounded enemies at close range. He can wield various firearms to take foes out from a distance or get up close and personal with his katana. Shadow Warrior 3 is a first-person shooter, and in it, Lo Wang has numerous weapon and movement options. This unlikely team is the last hope to stop the dragon and the coming cataclysm. Lastly, Lo Wang carries with him the Mask of Hoji, the last remnant of his friend from previous Shadow Warrior games.
Orochi Zilla recruits Motoko, a sorceress of the Komo Brotherhood, to help the pair kill the escaped dragon. Helping him is Orochi Zilla, his former employer and sidekick. Players once again take on the role of Lo Wang, a corporate enforcer turned freelancer.
